The Tasks module lets you create, assign, track, and complete tasks across your team.

Accessing Tasks

Click Tasks in the main sidebar. The page opens in your last-used view (List or Kanban), which is saved automatically in your browser.

Views

List View

Displays all tasks in a sortable, filterable table. Columns include: title, assignee, priority, status, and due date. Click any row to open the task detail sheet on the right.

Kanban View

Displays tasks grouped into swimlane columns by status: Backlog, To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done. Drag cards between columns to update status instantly.

Creating a Task

  1. Click the + New Task button in the top-right corner.
  2. Enter a title and optionally a description.
  3. Set a Priority: Low, Medium, High, or Urgent.
  4. Choose a Status.
  5. Assign to one or more team members using the Assignee selector.
  6. Set a due date.
  7. Click Create Task.

Task Detail

Click any task to open the detail sheet. From here you can:

  • Edit all task fields inline.
  • Add comments and discussion.
  • Change the status or priority.
  • View the task activity log.
  • Delete the task.

Filtering and Searching

Use the toolbar at the top of the list to filter tasks by status, priority, or assignee. The search box filters by task title in real time.

Opening a Task from a Notification

Notification links automatically include a ?openTask=taskId URL parameter. When you open the Tasks page with this parameter, the matching task detail sheet opens automatically without any extra clicks.
