The Assets module tracks company-owned hardware, equipment, and other physical items assigned to employees.

Accessing Assets

Navigate to Dashboard → HR → Assets.

Asset Table

Each row shows: asset tag (unique ID), asset name, category, assigned employee, condition, serial number, purchase date, and estimated value.

Adding an Asset

  1. Click + Add Asset.
  2. Enter the asset name and assign a unique asset tag.
  3. Select a category: Laptop, Monitor, Phone, Keyboard, Vehicle, Furniture, or Other.
  4. Enter the serial number, purchase date, and current value.
  5. Select the condition: New, Good, Fair, or Poor.
  6. Optionally assign the asset to an employee immediately.
  7. Save.

Asset Detail Sheet

Click any asset row to open its full detail panel, which shows the complete history of assignments and any associated notes or comments.

Editing and Deleting

Use the row action menu or the Edit button in the detail sheet to update any field. Bulk deletion is supported — select multiple assets using checkboxes and click Delete Selected.

Linking Assets to Contracts

When creating or editing a contract, you can attach one or more company assets. This formally documents issued equipment within the employment agreement, creating a clear record of responsibility.
