The Time Tracking module records and manages employee work hours, supports manual time entry, and generates time reports for payroll and auditing.
Accessing Time Tracking
Navigate to Dashboard → HR → Time Tracking.
Time Entry Table
The table displays all recorded time entries for the team. Columns include: employee name, date, clock-in time, clock-out time, total hours worked, break duration, project or task tag, and notes.
Adding a Time Entry
- Click + Log Time.
- Select the employee.
- Set the date, clock-in time, and clock-out time.
- Optionally add a break duration.
- Tag the entry to a project or task.
- Add any relevant notes.
- Save.
Deleting Entries
Select one or more entries using the row checkboxes and click Delete Selected. Alternatively, use the row action menu to delete a single entry.
Time Tracking Settings
Click the Settings icon in the toolbar to configure: standard work hours per day, overtime calculation rules, and time rounding preferences.
Exporting
Use the export button in the toolbar to download all time entries as a CSV file. This can be imported directly into payroll or accounting software.
