The News & Polls module provides an internal communication channel for publishing company announcements and running team surveys.
Accessing News & Polls
Navigate to Dashboard → HR → News & Polls. The page has two tabs: Announcements and Polls.
Announcements
Creating an Announcement
- Click + New Announcement.
- Enter a title and the full announcement content using the text editor.
- Optionally set an expiry date after which the announcement is automatically archived.
- Choose the target audience: All Team Members, Managers Only, or Specific Roles.
- Click Publish.
Published announcements are displayed in the News feed on every team member's dashboard and in their notification area.
Editing and Deleting Announcements
Click the ⋯ action menu on any announcement to edit its content or delete it permanently.
Polls
Creating a Poll
- Click + New Poll.
- Enter the poll question.
- Add between 2 and 10 answer options.
- Optionally set a deadline after which voting closes automatically.
- Choose whether voting results are anonymous.
- Click Publish.
Viewing Poll Results
Once one or more votes have been cast, results are displayed as a bar chart showing vote counts and the percentage share for each answer option. Live results update in real time.
