The News & Polls module provides an internal communication channel for publishing company announcements and running team surveys.

Accessing News & Polls

Navigate to Dashboard → HR → News & Polls. The page has two tabs: Announcements and Polls.

Announcements

Creating an Announcement

  1. Click + New Announcement.
  2. Enter a title and the full announcement content using the text editor.
  3. Optionally set an expiry date after which the announcement is automatically archived.
  4. Choose the target audience: All Team Members, Managers Only, or Specific Roles.
  5. Click Publish.

Published announcements are displayed in the News feed on every team member's dashboard and in their notification area.

Editing and Deleting Announcements

Click the action menu on any announcement to edit its content or delete it permanently.

Polls

Creating a Poll

  1. Click + New Poll.
  2. Enter the poll question.
  3. Add between 2 and 10 answer options.
  4. Optionally set a deadline after which voting closes automatically.
  5. Choose whether voting results are anonymous.
  6. Click Publish.

Viewing Poll Results

Once one or more votes have been cast, results are displayed as a bar chart showing vote counts and the percentage share for each answer option. Live results update in real time.
